Wanda & Joe Porter are handed the 1999 Amateur Astronomer
of the Year award by Eliot Neel at the Mid-States Regional Convention
in Fayette, MO. Eliot was the award winner in 1998.
John Reed, a member
of the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society, is the winner of
the 2000 Amateur Astronomer of the Year Award presented at the
2000 MSRAL Convention in Kansas City.
Chris Lasley, a member
of the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society, is the winner of
the 2001 Amateur Astronomer of the Year award presentd at the
2001 MSRAL Convention in Conway, Arkansas. the 2000 winner, John
Reed, presenting the award.
