CASE Newlsetter Editor Wins Fourth Place

The Astronomical League has awarded Patrick Carr, editor of the Photon Gazette, a fourth place finish in the Mabel Stearns Award. The Mabel Stearns Award is given each year to the top astronomical newsletters in the Astronomical League. Patrick was notified that the Photon Gazette had received a fourth place finish among all A.L. newsletters for 2000-01. "Hopefully we can continue to inscrease the quality of the newsletter, but this is a great honor for a publication that is only a little over a year old."
